Watching Bernard Goldberg on TV explain why so many white folks [in the media as well as the voting public] continue to support Obama despite the Jeremiah Wright ‘s racist rantings was interesting.  Goldberg believes that the white liberals who continue to support him and believe his pathetic speech on race was “brilliant” do so because the want to show the world, especially, black folks, that they are different white people. 

Better white people.
 

Goldberg is of course right, but is goes much deeper than that.
 

It’s not only [as Goldberg points out] that these whites are trying to show how “un-racist” they are, but more importantly, I believe they are continuing to support Obama for a more important reason: It makes them feel better about themselves.
 

So here’s the bottom line folks:
 

Millions of American spend years in therapy and thousands of dollars in an attempt to get better self esteem, and feel better about themselves.  In addition, millions buy self help books and attend self-help seminars for the same reason.
 

Well now all that is unnecessary; you can achieve all the self-help you’ve ever dreamed of and feel the best you’ve ever felt about yourself within just 10 seconds and free of charge if you’re white.  All you have to do is proclaim your love of Barack Obama.
 

Within ten seconds, like magic, you will feel morally superior, intellectually superior, and spiritually superior to all those neanderthals out there that don’t agree with you.  Your self confidence will swell to a level of arrogance you never even knew exited.
 

It’s amazing.  In my lifetime, I’ve never seen such a political phenomenon.  Of all the things to promise supporters if they elect you, Obama has unwittingly has attracted this monumental support among white voters by giving them something more powerful and more valuable than any proposed tax cuts, or improvements in health care and education.  He’s given them self-improvement.
 

Look out Tony Robbins, Barack Obama is likely to put you out of business.
 

This phenomenon is affecting even clear thinking folks in the media such as Chris Mattthews [who appeared to be having multiple orgasms extolling Obamas ridiculous speech] as well as the millions of level-headed white voters are now [according to polls] not only undisturbed by the Jeremiah Wright fiasco, but are actually defending black racism.
 

Until recently I believed [as did most political folks] that Obama’s support among whites had nothing to do with race.  That like Colin Powell, he was an attractive candidate who just happened to be black. 

Wrong.
 

Turns out to be the just the same old white liberal guild crap.
 

This is of course no reflection whatsoever against Barack Obama.  Just an observation on the emotional shallowness of his white supporters, and why their emotional support of him is so powerful.  He offers them something never offered by any presidential candidate in my lifetime, possibly ever in American history.
 

He offers them superiority.

Rumors are circulating that there’s another shoe to drop.  That there’s footage of Obama eigher clapping or nodding in approval during a Jeremiah Wright wacko rant.
 

It’s amazing that this guy who was such a brilliant politician, who connected so well with the American public, has totally lost it and has actually become a liability to Hillary.  The exact opposite of what the polls said was her biggest asset going into the race.
 

The Bill Clinton we all saw in South Carolina was not the same Bill Clinton who was president for eight years.  This was an angry guy, and using racist political tactics no less.  Definitely not the same man.
 

My own speculation: His heart surgery has sadly effected his brain, and even sadder, his most likeable asset; his personality.
 

He’s just not a nice guy anymore.

As the polls show Obama is badly defeating Hillary on the integrity issue, Hillary finally  released her taxes since 2000, but not including 2007, where she conveniently got an extension.
 

Again reinforcing what I keep saying: Hillary ain’t that smart:
 

She could have avoided anything embarrassing on those returns [regarding some shady sources of income for her husband] by simply filing individual returns all these years instead of joint returns.  So she saved a few bucks by filing jointly.  Big deal, considering they earned over 100 mill during that period.
 

She knew as soon as she was elected in 2000 that she definitely run in 2008 if Bush was re-elected.  And she didn’t have the smarts to file joint returns?
 

Can you imagine, McCain could have unlimited campaign funds because his wife Cindy is an heiress to gazillions.
 

And they have a prenup.
